I would guess he's headed for the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America International Rally July 17-20 at Gillette, Wyo. No doubt taking the long way to do a bit of sightseeing before the rally. I'll keep an eye out for him at the rally and try to get a photo of him and his bike. (I've been designated as one of the official rally photographers.)
