In honor of birthday feasts everywhere

It's a little known fact that my birthday is tomorrow. So in case I don't make it back to the blog-o-sphere before Monday, let's rack it up to birthday cake and wine poisoning.

In honor of all those birthday feasts gone bad. Here's a visual and mentally joyful delight at one of my all time favorite blogs: The Sneeze
I think the entire topic of 'Don't Eat it Steve' is worthwhile, but if you just don't have the time or the stomach for it... Scroll down to the posting on 'Prison Wine'. I believe this is the pertinent posting relating to birthday wine consumption.

I think that the Sneeze takes long vacations occasionally- but it's always worth going back in time to read The Sneeze.
Enjoy!

Painting the kitchen

So, We've finally gotten around to painting the kitchen. It was a light buttery yellow all over with my blue delft plates hung for decoration. Now, well, now it's an unknown color...
IS IT.... Peanut Butter?

NO not quite.

Is it Almond Butter?

Nope, not that either...

Is it roasted red pepper Hummus?

Sort of.. getting closer!

In actuallity it is BEHR paint color *Kenya*..
Yes, they've distilled an entire country into a can of paint and forced me to put it on my walls.

Chicken and Chi-Chi's commercial

chicken & chi chi's commercial
OMG! I have finally found the TV commercial that is so funny- online. My husband and I have had a secret humorous dialog regarding this commercial for at least a month. I have been searching everywhere for it and finally found it today. Anyone with a 4 year old will appreciate the humor! Kids tend to be very repetative with their demands until you answer them.... this commercial hits that right on the nose. Visit:

Takes quicktime and a pretty good connection speed, but so worth it.
