My mother's tomato farm.
Taken late afternoon on a cloudy day, but you can see the majority of her 50+ tomato plants in the west garden.
(yes, she has more than one.) Dad rolls his eyes over the largess of this.. Anyone who's raised a lot of tomatoes knows that this is going to mean LOTS and LOTS of canning, salads, sauces and soups.
Mom's reasoning: "I have the dirt, and with the economy with way it is.. there might be someone who's hungry."
I wish the world were more like my Mother.

I just wish I lived closer...my tomato plant in the pot just doesn't cut it. I really really miss having a garden and fresh tomato's. Your Mom rules!!!
